Turning a URL into a QR code takes three steps: enter the address, configure any options, and download. The resulting image encodes the URL directly — no redirect, no middleman. Anyone who scans it is taken straight to the page.
Choosing the right URL
Paste the full URL including the https:// prefix. Short, stable URLs work best — a link that changes or expires after a few months means reprinting everything that carries the code. If the destination might change, point the code at a URL you control and can redirect, rather than the final page itself.
Downloading for print vs. screen
The generator lets you download the code as an image file. For on-screen use — social posts, email footers, presentations — any standard download works. For print, choose the highest-quality option available so the code stays sharp when scaled up to banner or signage size.
Minimum print size
A URL QR code printed smaller than roughly 2 cm × 2 cm becomes unreliable on most phone cameras, especially in moderate lighting. For a business card, 2.5 cm is a safe floor. For stickers on surfaces with variable lighting, 3 cm or larger gives more consistent results.
